Welcome to the Northern Shenandoah Valley!

The 15th District, Department of Virginia is made up of the city of Winchester, and the counties of Clarke, Frederick, Page, Shenandoah and Warren in Northern Virginia. We represent 7 American Legion Posts and a total of over 2,300 wartime service veterans who are proud to call themselves Legionnaires. The District provides an interface between individual Posts and the Department of Virginia, and is an important part of the structure required for them to be involved in many important American Legion programs.

This web site has several functions:

• Provide our communities with program and contact information for local American Legion Posts
• Provide an interface between the Posts and the 15th District officers and committees
• Share information between posts, the district, and the Department of Virginia about events and schedules
• Promote American Legion programs both in the community and among Legionnaires
